What if nobody shows up?

Westech has had our share of difficult times on projects. Our biggest problems have been having an event that very few people come to. We’ve committed to be at a location with our truck for 4 – 6 hours to pick up electronics, so our truck, driver, and helper are there waiting. Sometimes we have people from our partner charity there with us and sometimes not.

Then, an hour into the event, our driver calls to say he’s had maybe one car come in to deliver one item and nothing else. He say, “Can I leave?” and we have to say no because we committed to be there. After the event, the truck might come back with 3 – 4 items and a very bored driver and helper.

We just have to learn from the events to judge better next time.
